Millard, Rouse & Rosebrugh LLP is pleased to announce that Robert Welsh, CA has accepted an offer of partnership effective January 1, 2010. Rob will be working primarily out of our Simcoe office.

A native of the area, he grew up on a farm just outside of Scotland. He now resides in Waterford with his wife, Jen, daughter, Sydney and son, Max. After graduating from Waterford District High School, Rob went on to earn his Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2000 and qualified for his CA designation in 2003. Rob joined MR&R in February 2005, bringing with him the valuable experience he gained from working both in the audit department of KPMG LLP and the tax department of Deloitte & Touche LLP. From this experience Rob has obtained the wide ranging knowledge base and the skill-set deemed essential to operating successfully in a regional accounting firm with the mix of clients that MR&R services. When not crunching numbers, Rob enjoys a variety of activities including running, hockey and golf.
